The Bible stands alone in many respects. This includes being the most reproduced Book of all time, as well as the most misunderstood.

Quantum Christianity's Rule of Emphasis and explanation of Inference were designed to help determine the mega messages of Scripture. Both obvious and less so. In conjunction, in this section you'll find links to some of our favorite sites for information on the Bible and science, revival and other Scriptural areas of interest. All of which require a honesty and diligence, two necessary traits God requires from all who seek to know and please Him.

Everything written long ago was written to teach us so that we would have confidence through the endurance and encouragement which the Scriptures give us.

- Romans 15:4 GW

As this book goes forth, it is our earnest prayer that others, too, might catch this burden, vision, and flaming passion."

Motivating Quotes

Some find truth, good and/or bad, motivating and/or liberating. Others, not so much. Prophetic Christians understand both the love and terror of the Lord and thus endeavor to "persuade men" to choose eternal life rather than death. Knowing they too are sinners, they treat others as they would be treated: firm, fair, factual and friendly.  They compel the lost, including apathetic and disobedient Christians within Churchianity, to come into the Kingdom by first speaking the truth in love. Should compassion fail, they spend themselves and their lives trying to pull lost humanity from "the fire."

With or without the vernacular to explain it, such men and women appreciate
Christ’s teaching and example of shouldering one’s cross. It serves as a constant reminder of quantum Kingdom inversion. As Jesus explained:

  • “Then Jesus said to the disciples, “If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For anyone who keeps his life for himself shall lose it; and anyone who loses his life for me shall find it again.” Matthew 16:24-25 Living Bible

Paradigm shifts such as
less is more, the last shall be first and love your enemies are cornerstones of Scriptural physics. Paradoxes repeated throughout the Old, and particularly the New Testament. Perhaps most notably in Christ’s Sermon on the Mount, beginning with the Beatitudes. Spiritually quantum in nature, such extra-logical principals have been an interest to many, including Theoretical Physicist Dr. Michael Guillen, a three-time Emmy Award winner, best-selling author and former Harvard University instructor. He also served as ABC News Science Editor. In a RTB Youtube interview with Experimental Physicist Dr. Jeff Zweerink entitled “What Is the Strongest Evidence for the Truth of Scripture,” Dr. Guillen explained that such counterintuitive New Testament passages were instrumental in developing his Christian faith. In large part a result of the Bible’s harmony with scientific discoveries, including those within quantum mechanics. A symmetry he develops in his book, “Amazing Truths: How Science and the Bible Agree.”

Scripture’s glory of diminishment is vastly undermined today by situational ethics and the
jettisoning of morality. Nevertheless, self denial and sacrifice, particularly on behalf of those in authentic need, remain hallmarks of Biblical Christianity. James, the spokesperson of the First Church Council maintained:

  • “Anyone who sets himself up as “religious” by talking a good game is self-deceived. This kind of religion is hot air and only hot air. Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the Father, is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world.” James 1:26-27 The Message

Even with such clear mandates Christianity is under assault, both within and without. Particularly troubling are those who seek to move, if not remove, Biblical boundary stones. One by one, explicit teachings on foundational tenants are either ignored or whisked away under the auspices of Biblical criticism or pop theology. A troubling and dangerous trend, resulting in the fracturing of Christendom along denominational and philosophical lines.

We offer the following quotes, along with those at the beginning of all GB articles, to encourage a correct handling of "the Word of truth" in
quantum hope of promoting dialogue and identifying a bridge between 1st Century Biblical Christianity and 21st Century modern Churchianity.

Søren Kierkegaard:

The matter is quite simple. The bible is very easy to understand. But we Christians are a bunch of scheming swindlers. We pretend to be unable to understand it because we know very well that the minute we understand, we are obliged to act accordingly. Take any words in the New Testament and forget everything except pledging yourself to act accordingly. My God, you will say, if I do that my whole life will be ruined. How would I ever get on in the world? Herein lies the real place of Christian scholarship. Christian scholarship is the Church’s prodigious invention to defend itself against the Bible, to ensure that we can continue to be good Christians without the Bible coming too close. Oh, priceless scholarship, what would we do without you? Dreadful it is to fall into the hands of the living God. Yes it is even dreadful to be alone with the New Testament.

It is so hard to believe because it is so hard to obey.

The truth is a snare: you cannot have it, without being caught. You cannot have the truth in such a way that you catch it, but only in such a way that it catches you.

It (genuine Christianity) is the deepest wound that can be dealt to a person designed to collide with everything on the most appalling scale.

The tyrant dies and his rule is over, the martyr dies and his rule begins.

Charles Spurgeon:

I defend the Bible the same way I defend a lion. I simply let it out of its cage.

There is a power in God's gospel beyond all description.

Dwight L. Moody:

The Bible was not given for our information but for our transformation.

The Bible will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from the Bible.

There's no better book with which to defend the Bible than the Bible itself.

Out of 100 men, one will read the Bible, the other 99 will read the Christian.

God doesn't seek for golden vessels, and does not ask for silver ones, but He must have clean ones.

Faith makes all things possible... love makes all things easy.

David Wilkerson:

God hates the LUKEWARM GOSPEL OF HALF-TRUTHS that is now spreading over the Globe. This gospel says, 'Just believe in Jesus and you'll be Saved. There's nothing more to it.' It ignores the Whole Counsel of God, which speaks of Repenting from former Sins, of Taking up your Cross, of being conformed to the Image of Christ by the refining work of the Holy Spirit. It is totally silent about the Reality of Hell and an After-Death Judgment.

The Word says, ‘Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world’ (1 John 2:15). Jesus warned, ‘Beware of covetousness: for a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things which he possesses’ (Luke 12:15). Things—our possessions—can tie us down to this world. While heaven and hell prepare for war, we go shopping. Eternal values are at stake! The end of all we know is near—and we are busy playing with our toys!

Worshippers aren't made when they see the enemy on the run, put to flight. The truth is, worshippers of God are made during dark, stormy nights. And how we respond to our storms determines just what kind of worshippers we are.

C. S. Lewis:

I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.

Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of – throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.

If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair.

True humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less.

A. W. Tozer:

The Bible is the inevitable outcome of God's continuous speech. It is the infallible declaration of His mind.

Without doubt the mightiest thought the mind can entertain is the thought of God.

Now, as always, God discloses Himself to "babes" and hides Himself in thick darkness from the wise and the prudent. We must simplify our approach to Him. We must strip down to essentials (and they will be found to be blessedly few). We must put away all effort to impress, and come with the guileless candor of childhood. If we do this, without doubt God will quickly respond.

Religion today is not transforming people; rather it is being transformed by the people. It is not raising the moral level of society; it is descending to society’s own level, and congratulating itself that it has scored a victory because society is smilingly accepting its surrender.

Every man must choose his world.

Many people are caught up with the toys of contemporary society. Because of great advancements in our culture, some have cultivated an attitude of “comfortability.” They may be going to hell, but it is going to be a comfortable ride for them.

God never uses anyone greatly until He tests them deeply.

Trying to be happy without a sense of God’s presence is like trying to have a bright day without the sun.

Christians don't tell lies they just go to church and sing them.

The vague and tenuous hope that God is too kind to punish the ungodly has become a deadly opiate for the consciences of millions.

It is scarcely possible in most places to get anyone to attend a meeting where the only attraction is God.

Leonard Ravenhill:

The Word helps the suffering as a as a mother hugs a weeping child; but it also slaps us in the face.

Dear reader, do you and I realize that we are just one heartbeat from a fixed state of reward, by it of joy or shame?

To me it is a shocking commentary on present Christian feebleness that while, in the first century, 120 men could move from an upper-room closet and shake Jerusalem, nowadays 120 churches claiming a like experience of the Holy Spirit can be in one of our cities and yet that city at large hardly know they are there.

It is my solemn conviction that the most glorious hour of the church has yet to be born. All the heroes of faith have not yet been listed. All the chapters of the church, “fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners”, have not yet been written. The greatest exploits of faith have yet to be done.

Charles Finney:

If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the public press lacks moral discernment, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the world loses its interest in Christianity, the pulpit is responsible for it. If Satan rules in our halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it.
